Yuma County Emergency Management is proud to recognize our incredible CERT members who recently completed and taught a Hybrid Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Training Course in San Luis, Arizona!
This successful training brought together community members committed to preparedness, resilience, and helping their neighbors during emergencies and disasters. Through hands-on instruction and classroom learning, participants gained valuable skills in disaster preparedness, fire safety, medical operations, light search and rescue, team organization, and more.
A special thank you to Yuma County Emergency Management Director Tony Badilla, who presented the Terrorism and CERT module, providing important information on recognizing potential threats, understanding CERT’s role in preparedness, and strengthening community resilience.
We are grateful for the dedication of our CERT instructors, volunteers, and graduates who continue to make Yuma County a safer and more prepared community.
