YCADC has had SO much fun giving out these Red Ribbon kits to our amazing schools! 🎈❤️ We can’t wait to see how each school gets creative, decorates their campus, and shows their commitment to making healthy, drug-free choices!

A huge thank you to KYMA for helping us spread the word about Red Ribbon Month and our FREE Red Ribbon kits for schools throughout Yuma County! 🎉

We’re so excited to see our local schools getting ready to celebrate, decorate, and share the message of living drug-free! ❤️

We appreciate KYMA for continuing to support our prevention efforts and helping us reach even more students, families, and schools across our community!

The coalition made red ribbon balloon kits for 50 local schools in Yuma County. Each school came in to Jay's Party Shop to pick up the kits and sign the banner.

🐴💙 Kicking Off a New Season with Saddles of Joy! 💙🐴

YCADC was excited to participate in the Saddles of Joy Annual Season Kick-Off and celebrate another amazing season of connection, community, and fun!

Approximately 200 community members joined the celebration, enjoying time with the animals, playing games, and learning more about the wonderful mission of Saddles of Joy. We loved connecting with families and community partners while sharing YCADC prevention and wellness resources.

Thank you, Saddles of Joy, for including us in such a special day! 🐎✨ We are always grateful for opportunities to come together and support a healthier, stronger Yuma County.

YCADC extends a special thank you to our 2026 Red Ribbon Month sponsors—Arizona Complete Health, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona Foundation, Jay’s Party Shop, Arizona Western College, and the City of Yuma—for their generous support and commitment to empowering Yuma County youth and helping us make a difference, be a hero, and stay drug-free.

The Yuma County Anti-Drug Coalition is launching its 2026 Red Ribbon Month campaign throughout October, bringing schools, families, businesses and community organizations together to promote youth substance-use prevention.

This year’s theme is “Make a Difference. Be a Hero. Stay Drug Free,” encouraging young people to see healthy everyday choices as acts of courage and leadership.

National Red Ribbon Week runs October 23rd through the 31st, but the coalition is expanding activities throughout the entire month in Yuma County.

Participating schools will receive educational materials, pledge banners, posters, speakers and activities designed to keep students engaged in prevention.

The coalition is also encouraging the entire community to wear red, support local activities and help reinforce healthy, drug-free choices.
