The Yuma County Sheriff's Office reported this morning at about 8:19 a.m., YCSO received a report of a plane crash in an agriculture field near W. County 12th Street and S. Avenue G.

YCSO officials said that, upon Deputy arrival, the pilot was located responsive inside a civilian single-engine two-passenger aircraft. Rural Metro arrived on scene and extricated the sole occupant.

The pilot was then transported to Onvida Health with non-life-threatening injuries.

This case remains under investigation at this time.
