Giving Hands Of Yuma County Non profit organization created to help children and families at Christmas and with natural disasters or severe illness in the family year round.

Together we can make a difference! Run by 100% volunteer work. This organization is designed to help give gifts to children at Christmas who would not be able to have a nice Christmas due to financial hardships in the family unit. We also help families who have been involved in a natural disaster such as fire, flood or tornado in Yuma County. This has also included severe illness in the family.

We have officially wrapped up Giving Hands Christmas 2025. This year was huge with 389 kids and 34 families. Unfortunately those who did not submit an application or it was recieved after the deadline could not be accomodated. We do our best to help families every year, however we have to honor these deadlines to support our volunteers. Merry Christmas and remember to be kind to everyone and if you recieved gifts, give back to those in need when you are able.

Hey everyone, Tuesday, December 2nd is a fund raiser for Giving Hands.
Pizza Hut in Yuma will be donating a portion of all sales that day to us to help families in Yuma county.
Make sure when you order you tell them you are ordering for the Giving Hands fund raiser

Applications to be considered for Christmas families in Yuma county Colorado are available to pick up starting Monday October 27 at the courthouse in Wray or the Orphanage in Yuma. FIRM deadline to return applications is Thursday December 4th. No exceptions
