Las Piedras Railroad The Las Piedras Railroad (LPRR) is a BNSF-operated short line serving the western Mojave Desert of Southern California.

The railroad operates between Mojave and Palmdale, utilizing trackage rights over Union Pacific’s Palmdale Cutoff.
