Being kind isn't always about doing what's easy. Sometimes it's about having the courage to do what's right. During National Bullying Prevention Month, we're encouraging kids to notice when someone is left out, stand beside a classmate who needs a friend and speak up when they see unkind behavior.
You don't have to be the loudest person in the room to be a leader. Kindness is leadership, too. And one student choosing kindness can inspire an entire campus to do the same.
