Did you know that 70% of drownings among young children happen during non-swim times? That means water safety is not just about watching the pool. It is also about helping make sure children cannot reach the water without an adult.

Children are naturally curious, quick, and impulsive. That is why layers of protection are key:
🛟 Four-sided fencing with a self-closing and self-latching gate can help prevent unsupervised access to water.
🛟 Doors, windows, gates, and even doggie doors that lead to a pool area should be secured or alarmed.
🛟 A designated Water Watcher should always be assigned when children are in or near water.

You cannot always have eyes on them every second, but you can take steps to make your home safer.
