We want to say THANK YOU to our Hometown Heroes for visiting Kids Camp last week! 🚒🚜🚓🚛
Our campers had an absolute blast learning about our Fire, Park Maintenance, Police, and Sanitation Departments — and maybe having a little fun climbing on all the equipment too 😉
We appreciate all of the City staff who took time out of their day to create such a fun and memorable experience for our campers!

🚫 Reminder About Unauthorized Motorized Vehicles in Our Parks 🚫

We want everyone to enjoy our parks and outdoor spaces safely and responsibly. Recently, we have received reports and observed dirt bikes and other unauthorized motorized vehicles being operated within park areas.

Please remember that City Ordinance Sec. 78-5 prohibits the operation of motor vehicles within park areas except on designated roadways and parking lots, unless prior written approval has been obtained from the City.

In addition to creating safety concerns for other park users, these vehicles are causing damage to trails, grassy areas, and other park amenities.

We appreciate the community’s help in protecting and preserving our parks for everyone to enjoy. If you see someone using a motorized vehicle in our parks, please take a picture if you are able and report it here: https://submit.yukonok.gov/Forms/ParkMaintProb

Missed online registration? There's still time to participate in the MLB Pitch, Hit & Run Competition tomorrow at City Park Baseball Fields in Yukon!
📅 Date: Saturday June 6
⏰ Event Time: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
📍 Location: City Park Baseball Fields, Yukon, OK
Boys and girls ages 5-14 are invited to compete in pitching, hitting, and running events for a chance to advance from the Local Competition to Team Championships and ultimately the Finals held during the World Series.
✅ Day-of registration will be available on-site.
✅ Please arrive before 2:00 PM to be guaranteed a spot.
✅ Bring proof of age for your child.
✅ Participants should bring their own bat and helmet.
Acceptable proof of age includes:
• Birth Certificate
• Passport
• State ID
• School ID
• Report Card
• Screenshot of an online school account or other school document showing the athlete's name, grade, and current school year
