Thank you Youth Commissioners! Great job!

The Town of Yucca Valley would like to extend a huge thank you to this year's Youth Commission! 👏

The Commissioners served from November 2023 through June 2024 and had a productive term, hosting events like Senior Prom and Teen and Family Park Party and volunteering for Town special events including the Tree Lighting Ceremony, Easter Egg Hunt and Grubstakes Run. Their work during this term focused on providing programs for our local seniors and families, as well as teen programs for their peers.

Join us this May for Red Cross Lifeguard Training!

Enrollment is open to candidates 15+ ; must be able to pass a swim test including a 300 yd swim, tread water, and brick dive 🌊

Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will earn a 2-year Red Cross Lifeguard Certification and will be interview for Summer Aquatics positions.

Join the Town of Yucca Valley Youth Commission for a Teen Splash Day at the Yucca Valley Community Center soccer field!

📍 Saturday, April 29 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The event will feature water slides, a bounce house, dunk tank, co****le and hula hoop activities, door prizes, along with refreshing snow cones and snack foods. Admission is FREE and all are welcome!

The Youth Commission invites teens and their families to this fun community event!

Get your dance on 💃: Yucca Valley's Youth Commission is throwing a Senior Dance at the YV Community Center Yucca Room on March 11!

Doors open at 6pm, and the dance is from 6pm to 8pm! Seniors 55+ attend free, and those 55 and under are $5 a person.
