Contributors to student success at Crafton Hills College through scholarships had the opportunity to meet the students who benefitted from their generosity during the college’s annual Scholarship Reception on August 13.

Foundation President Amy Minjares expressed her appreciation to the donors and announced that this past year the Foundation distributed $332,000 in scholarships! The mission of the Crafton Hills College Foundation is to raise funds that remove barriers, enhance opportunities, and empower student success!

Returning students just pick up a new sticker for the semester!!

To get a new Student ID:
1. Visit the student id application
2. Upload your photo. (Allow 7-10 business days for completion.)
3. Once you receive email notification, stop by the Dept. of Student Life (CCR 153) to pick up your ID.
You can use your Student ID to ride the OmniTrans bus for free!

Crafton Hills College welcomed 7,753 students for the fall 2026 semester, which began Monday, Aug. 24. Students have several new degree and certificate programs to add to their educational options this Fall!

The college is introducing the following new programs:

- Associate in Arts for Transfer in Social Justice Studies (Ethnic Studies)
- Associate in Arts for Transfer in Elementary Teacher Education (Integrated Programs)
- Associate in Science for Transfer in Environmental Science
- Associate in Science degree and certificate in Vocational Nursing
- Associate in Science for Transfer in Law, Public Policy and Society
- Transitional Kindergarten Teacher Certificate

Dr. Ericka Paddock’s favorite part of Crafton Hills College’s annual Roadrunner Rally is the people. The college’s associate dean of student support services offered a friendly smile and welcoming “hello” to the hundreds who dropped in for the annual event on Aug. 6, which hosted returning Roadrunners to become acclimated or reacclimated to life as a Roadrunner.

Event highlights included campus tours, drop-in counselor meeting opportunities, and a look at the myriad student club offerings.

The Crafton Hills College Foundation is now accepting nominations for its Outstanding Alumni Award and inviting the community to its annual fundraiser, Bright Nights, Brighter Futures, on Wednesday, Sept. 23! Each year, the Foundation recognizes a former Crafton Hills College student who exemplifies the dynamic and positive qualities the Crafton experience can produce. Community members can submit a nomination through Aug. 31 by visiting craftonhills.edu/fundraiser.

Crafton Hills College has rolled out a new Vocational Nurse (VN) Program, expanding the college's healthcare education offerings and creating a direct pathway into one of the region's most in-demand professions. The program comes as the Inland Empire faces a critical shortage of healthcare professionals, and Crafton Hills College is looking to help close that gap by preparing more students for careers in nursing.
