This week, ALL of our YCJUSD administrators gathered for the final Leadership Revolution session of the year. Led by the incredible Dr. Harold Vollkommer, our team dove deep into reflection, growth, and strategic planning for the future of our schools.

Over the last few months, our community came together to answer a big question: What should every Yucaipa-Calimesa graduate know, be able to do, and aspire to become?

Thanks to 762 of you—across 5 different groups—we collected over 33,000 words of feedback and nearly 40,000 data points.

We’ve listened, we’ve analyzed, and we are officially putting the final touches on the finished product. We cannot wait to share the final Portrait of a Graduate with you very soon!

Floating like a butterfly, thinking like a scientist! 🧠✨ Under the supervision and instruction of Tracy Marrs, our amazing 5th-grade Summer Jump Start crew at VES tackled a sweet STEAM challenge: designing and building custom butterfly feeders. They learned all about insect habitats, measurement, and design thinking—plus, they made the school garden look beautiful! 🌺
Safe to say, this summer is already fluttering with success.
