The Yuba City Unified School District incorporates over 215 square miles in Sutter County, California and provides quality educational services to nearly 13,000 students K-12. The seventeen schools offer K-5, K-8, 6-8, and 9-12 configurations along with an alternative high school and independent study programs. Yuba City is located 45 miles north of Sacramento in the lush Central Valley near the S

utter Buttes, the nation’s smallest mountain range. Several recreational areas, historic landmarks, metropolitan shopping, cultural centers, the high Sierra Nevada Mountains and the Pacific Ocean are within a 2-3 hour drive. The University of California at Davis and California State Universities at Chico and Sacramento are all within 45 miles.

🕊️ 50th Anniversary Memorial Service
Please join the Yuba City High School community as we gather to honor the lives lost in the 1976 School Bus Tragedy. We will be coming together to remember the 28 students and the dedicated teacher whose lives were tragically cut short.
