I’m a 400
My major is Exercise science

Hometown: Monroe, MI
Major: Health Administration
MS level: 400
Branch/component: Medical or Logistics/ Active Duty
Where do you want to get stationed: Schofield Barracks (Oahu, Hawaii) or Camp Humphreys (Pyeongtek, Korea)
Something you learned at ROTC: You truly get what you put in. Understanding your strengths and weaknesses as a leader helps you grow, and staying open to constructive criticism as well as valuing what others bring to the table not only improves you, but those around you. Leadership is never one size fits all; it evolves as you adapt your style to what works best in both your professional and personal life. At the end of the day, using your experiences with good intentions to support and prepare Soldiers for what lies ahead isn’t just part of being a good leader, it’s part of being a Soldier.

“U.S. Army Cadet Command is aware of the Secretary of War’s recent directive to sever all Department of War ties with ‘Princeton, Columbia, Brown, MIT, Yale, and many others. At this time, we are awaiting further guidance on the implementation of this directive, but remain committed to ensuring that we communicate with all our stakeholders, including our higher education partners and our cadets, when we have official guidance.”

“One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned through EMU ROTC is to intentionally place yourself around mentors you aspire to become. Growth doesn’t happen by accident, it happens through discipline, accountability, and surrounding yourself with leaders who raise your standard every day.” -Abbie Haupt
