Today marked Week 4 of the Women's Self-Care Workshop, and it has been wonderful to see this group continue to grow and go strong.

Each week, women are coming together for a time of connection, encouragement, and meaningful conversations around self-care, mental health, women’s health, and making healthy choices. It has been a beautiful opportunity to slow down, pour into ourselves, and build community with one another.

We are so thankful for every woman who has been part of this journey so far, and we look forward to continuing this time of self-care and support each week.

This past Tuesday, women came out for the Grown Women Self-Care Workshop, part of an ongoing weekly self care series.

The workshop created a welcoming space for women to come together, connect, and focus on mental health, women’s health, and practical self-care techniques. Participants explored ways to make healthy choices, support lifestyle changes, and take intentional time for themselves.

We are excited to continue this journey of self-care, encouragement, and community each week!

During the event, attendees were able to get their height, weight, body mass index, blood pressure, glucose, and cholesterol checked. They also had the opportunity to speak with medical students and staff about their results and any health concerns.

This was Part One of a two-part health and wellness series. Part Two will be a Health Education Seminar, and residents will be able to ask questions about diet, health, stress management, child development, and age-appropriate milestones.
