This week, we proudly celebrated the graduation of the 2026 Citizens Police Academy class at the Youngsville Police Department!

Over the past 11 weeks, these dedicated members of our community have joined us each Wednesday evening for an inside look at the operations of our department. Participants had the opportunity to connect with our officers and staff and experience various aspects of law enforcement firsthand.

The academy was filled with meaningful conversations, hands-on experiences, new perspectives, and stronger connections between our department and the community we serve. We are incredibly grateful for the enthusiasm and commitment each participant brought to the program.

We would also like to extend a very special thank you to the local businesses and community partners who generously donated their time, resources, and support to help make this academy a success. Your generosity played an important role in creating a memorable experience for our participants, and we are truly grateful for your investment.

The Youngsville Police Department would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Faith Baptist Church Youngsville for hosting National Night Out.

We would also like to thank all the vendors, community partners, and public safety agencies who came out to support and participate in this wonderful event. Your time, generosity, and commitment to bringing our community together are truly appreciated.

Our officers had a wonderful time meeting everyone, building relationships, and enjoying meaningful conversations with those who attended. Thank you to everyone who came out and showed their support!

Join us for National Night Out this Thursday, August 6 from 6-8PM at Faith Baptist Church.

National Night Out is a wonderful opportunity to connect with the community and meet the law enforcement officers, firefighters, first responders, and community partners who help keep our town safe.
