Just a little FYI...

* The 2020 tax-filing start date has been pushed back two weeks, to February 12, 2021.

* Businesses are still required to make their wage statements (W-2's and/or 1099's) available online or mail them to workers by February 1, 2021.

* You can begin preparing your tax return when you have these documents, but it won't be submitted to the IRS until February 12, 2021.

* The IRS says the quickest and safest way to get your refund is by filing electronically and selecting direct deposit. MOST refunds will arrive within 21 days.

* Refunds for filers claiming the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) or child tax credit are expected to begin arriving in early MARCH, 2021.

If you normally file your taxes quickly and expect your refund the same way... not this year, folks! PLEASE be patient with your tax preparers as this is totally out of their control!!!
