Eastgate Regional Council of Governments Eastgate Regional Council of Governments is directly responsible for a variety of federal, state, and local planning and project implementation programs.

The Eastgate Regional Council of Governments is a voluntary association of local governments in northeast Ohio. Our members include Ashtabula County, Mahoning County, Trumbull County, and all cities, villages, and townships in the counties. Although our members are unique, they share many common interests. Eastgate brings them together to create a unified voice in areas such as transportation, water and air quality, land use planning, and local infrastructure projects.

Eastgate is seeking input from locals for a new watershed plan for Middle Mosquito Creek and Lower Mosquito Creek! Input from the public will help identify water quality issues and ensure the plan addresses local stakeholders' concerns.

There will be a public meeting on Wednesday, June 24th at 6PM, at the Trumbull County Soil & Water Conservation District Office in Cortland.
