Over the past few years, we’ve witnessed a disturbing rise of anti-American, socialist values taking over universities and public schools, hand in hand with a wave of anti-Israel and anti-America protests in the name of “Palestine.” This has fueled an explosion of antisemitism across the country, from the progressive Left of the Green Party and radical Muslim circles,

The radical left of the Green Party has partnered with Islamists who are growing in number and political power across America. This isn’t a conspiracy theory; it’s playing out in front of our eyes. Look at the glorification of Hamas and the vilification of Israel on American college campuses. Look at some members of Congress openly supporting terrorists under the guise of “liberation.”

The far left radicals of the Green Party It no longer stands for America. It stands for globalism, socialism, and identity-based revolution.

The Mahoning Valley Green Party supports Israel. We are moderate Greens who oppose the radical far left in our party who are trying to turn the party red.

The Mahoning Valley Green Party does not believe in celebrating May Day. We ignore May 1st as Labor Day, choosing September instead to avoid celebrating a holiday with deep ties to socialist, communist, and anarchist movements. especially following the 1886 Haymarket Affair. In the U.S., May Day is often viewed as a, "day of radical protests and riots" rather than a unifying national holiday for workers.

Opposing antisemitism is essential not only to ensure the safety and human rights of Jewish people but also to protect the health of democratic societies, uphold social cohesion, and prevent the escalation of violence. Antisemitism, often referred to as "the longest hatred," is a persistent, mutating form of prejudice that has existed for thousands of years and frequently leads to severe violence, including the Holocaust. We must oppose those socialists in the Green Party that support Hamas.

No Kings Protest accomplished nothing

Christian Schneider: On Saturday, hundreds of thousands — perhaps millions — of Americans will pour into city streets. But will they accomplish anything?

Government in Ohio can lower child care costs by raising Publicly Funded Child Care (PFCC) reimbursements to providers closer to the 75th percentile of market rates, increasing eligibility thresholds, and shifting to enrollment-based payments instead of attendance-based ones. Supporting workers through wage increases, expanding employer-matched tax credits, and providing direct tax credits for families are key strategies.

Specific actions proposed or in progress include:
Expansion of Assistance Eligibility: Increasing income eligibility for PFCC to 160%—and eventually up to 300%—of the federal poverty level, ensuring more working families qualify.
Stabilizing Provider Funding: Moving to pay providers based on enrollment rather than daily attendance to ensure stable income, allowing centers to pay staff better wages and retain staff.
Employer-Sponsored Child Care Programs: Implementing incentives for businesses to share costs, such as the 2026-2027 state budget proposal where employers cover 40% and the state covers 20% of costs, as noted in this Action for Children article.
Tax Incentives: Proposing a $1,000 refundable child tax credit for low-income families and exploring tax deductions for child care tuition, according to Signal Cleveland and a reddit user.
Reducing Provider Regulatory Burden: Offering grants to recruit new providers and modifying licensing regulations to encourage new child care centers to enter the market.

We represent a position on the political spectrum that avoids ideological extremes by seeking a balance between progressive (liberal) and conservative policies.
Pragmatism: We prioritize practical, workable solutions over rigid adherence to any single political ideology.
Case-by-Case Approach: We evaluate each issue individually, which can result in a mix of beliefs (e.g., being fiscally conservative but socially liberal).
Bipartisanship and Compromise: We favor incremental change and cooperation between opposing political parties to achieve consensus.
Aversion to Extremism: Our primary goal is often to avoid the perceived radicalism or polarization of the far left and far right.

State parties should focus on state and local issues because these levels of government have the most direct impact on daily life, offering greater opportunities for tangible, bipartisan results that improve voter engagement and trust. By focusing on local needs, state parties can build a stronger grassroots base, influence critical redistricting, and address issues that national politics often ignore.
The state Ohio Green Party needs to focus on Ohio...not Gaza and Iran.

Improving Ohio's aging infrastructure requires a combination of targeted state and federal funding, innovative engineering solutions, and proactive maintenance strategies. Communities are increasingly leveraging public-private partnerships, local tax levies, and advanced technologies—such as trenchless pipe lining—to modernize water, transportation, and bridge systems cost-effectively while minimizing public disruption.

Until Universal Healthcare is approved...we believe the following initiatives need to be implemented to improve health care in Ohio.
Expand Provider Network & Licensing Reform: The Buckeye Institute recommends allowing advanced-practice registered nurses (APRNs) and other professionals to practice to the full extent of their training to fill gaps in care, particularly in underserved areas.
Embrace Technology and AI: Utilizing artificial intelligence to handle administrative tasks can lower operational costs. Furthermore, expanding telehealth services helps overcome geographic barriers for rural Ohioans.
Transparent Pricing and Cost Controls: Implementing policies that require hospitals to post clear, upfront pricing for procedures helps consumers compare costs.
Support Small Business Coverage: Ohio House Bill 133 encourages small employers to offer Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangements (ICHRAs), allowing employers to provide tax-advantaged funds for employees to purchase their own plans.
Strengthen Medicaid and Insurance Options: Maintaining Medicaid expansion is crucial, along with exploring options like Short-Term, Limited-Duration Insurance (STLDI) to offer cheaper, alternative coverage to Affordable Care Act (ACA) plans.
Value-Based Care Models: Anthem and state initiatives focus on paying for quality outcomes rather than the volume of services, which improves chronic condition management and lowers overall costs.

Improving healthcare affordability and access in Ohio involves expanding provider networks, utilizing telemedicine, and enacting policy reforms like transparent pricing and increased Medicaid support. Key strategies include leveraging advanced-practice nurses, adopting value-based care, promoting Small Employer HRAs, and reducing administrative costs through technology.
