Today, we gathered at Fire Station One to remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, 25 years ago.

As we reflected on the sacrifice of those who gave their lives that day, we also took a moment to recognize the brave men and women who continue to serve and protect our community every day.

A delegation of 25 first responders from Youngstown’s Finest and Youngstown’s Bravest gathered at Fire Station One to ring the bell in honor of those who made the ultimate sacrifice and to recognize the commitment of those who continue to put their communities before themselves.

Thank you to our first responders for your service, your courage and your commitment to Youngstown.

Our community partner, OCCHA, Inc. is also hosting a Job Fair the same day from 12 PM to 4 PM at 3660 Shirley Road.

A great day in downtown Youngstown celebrating the grand opening of Mended Apparel! ✂️✨

Ariel Brockway is bringing something truly unique to Phelps Street, handmade garments crafted from vintage materials, with a focus on sustainability, quality craftsmanship, and the art of sewing.

And what better way to celebrate than with Fashion on Phelps? The grand opening featured a fashion show highlighting Mended Apparel’s one-of-a-kind collection and the creativity behind each piece.

We’re excited to welcome Mended Apparel to downtown Youngstown and see Ariel’s vision come to life.

Thank you to everyone who filled the Covelli Centre and the streets of downtown Youngstown for Panerathon 2026! 💗

Year after year, this event shows what happens when our community comes together for something bigger than ourselves. Thousands of runners, walkers, families, volunteers and supporters came together to raise funds and awareness for the Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Center and the fight against breast cancer.

We’re proud to see Youngstown continue to show up, support one another and make an impact. 💕🎀

Ignite the Night was a breath taking example of community and our city's commitment to do more. Thousands travelled from all over to see what Youngstown is capable of, and we showed them. Thank you for igniting the night with us!
