Judge Theresa Dellick served as keynote speaker for the 21st Annual Pinwheels for Prevention Event. Mahoning County Children Services and Akron Children's Mahoning Valley hosted this event in support of Child Abuse Prevention Month. Pinwheels are the national symbol of Child Abuse Prevention Month and there is currently a pinwheel garden on display at Boardman Park, representing those who stand up for children in need.

Each year, Mahoning County Juvenile Court sends several staff to field specific educational events as part of a commitment to ensuring staff are equipped to perform duties effectively.
