The climbing season is officially in full swing! 🧗☕️
We had an incredible turnout for our first Climber Coffee of the year at the Columbia Boulder in Camp 4. It was great to see so many familiar faces, and we can’t wait to keep the momentum going all season long!
A massive thank you to our amazing coffee sponsors, and for keeping us caffeinated! If you’re in the SF area, make sure to show them some love.
Mark your calendars for the upcoming Sunday schedule:
    •    Now – June 28: Camp 4
    •    July 4 Weekend: Break
    •    July 12 – September: Tuolumne Meadows Store
    •    October – November: Back in the Valley!
See you at the next one! 🏔️☕️

The training cycle has begun! SAR and EMS teams are putting in the work, preparing for another busy season in Yosemite. As visitation numbers climb, so does the need for our teams to be sharp and ready for anything that might come their way. These trainings will come in spurts to keep everyone on top of their game throughout the season. Keep in mind the best way in preventing an incident is to make good choices and be as prepared as possible for the adventure ahead. 📸: .pole

April’s here and the SAR team has already had a busy start to the year 🏥🚑🚨

As you head out on your adventures, take a moment to plan ahead and stay safe. While much of the park has decent cell service, there are still areas without reception—consider carrying an emergency communication device just in case.

And always, always let someone know your plan before you go.

Use our FREE Adventure Plan Tool and share it with a trusted contact before heading out. You’ll find the link in our profile 🔗for the Google form or a PDF that can be easily shared. Have you tried using our FREE tool?

Our teams spent last week in Zion sharpening their skills and preparing for the busy season ahead. 💪

Check out this great story on the training:

We’re incredibly grateful for opportunities like this—training in different environments keeps our crews adaptable, prepared, and ready for whatever comes their way.

There’s a reason our team is among the best.

Search and rescue crew leaders from national parks across the West converged at Zion this week to share tips and tricks for how to keep people safe.

Peregrine falcons and golden eagles are entering their critical nesting season — a time when they’re especially sensitive to disturbance. Human activity near nests can cause stress, nest abandonment, failed reproduction, or defensive behavior.

Help protect Yosemite’s cliff-nesting raptors by respecting seasonal closures.
