Let's Celebrate Black History Month!

Black History Month is an annual celebration of achievements by African Americans and a time for recognizing their central roles and continued achievements in U.S. history.

Also known as African American History Month, since 1976, every U.S. president has officially designated the month of February as Black History Month. Other countries around the world, including Canada and the United Kingdom, also devote a month to celebrate Black History.

 Age: 62 years or older (1 member of a 2-person household must be 62)

 All applicants must apply in person at the session

Happy Diwali!

On October 24, 2022 Diwali, India's biggest and most important holiday of the year is celebrated. Diwali the Festival of Lights gets its name from the row (avali) of clay lamps (deepa) that is lite outside of home to symbolize the inner light that protects from spiritual darkness.
