📢 Friendly Reminder: Keep Our Streets Clear! 📢

Did you know-
under Village Code Chapter 104-2 nothing may be 'placed or planted' in or on any Village right-of-way or thoroughfare. This includes everything from yard sale signs, and real estate signs to business advertisements and political posters. Signs found in violation will be removed by village personnel. Help us keep Yorkville safe and beautiful and please make sure all private signage stays on your own property and not in the area between the curb and the sidewalk or if no curb or sidewalk, it would be the street line and ten feet in. Please remove all signs by Saturday afternoon.

🚨 Snow Emergency – Village of Yorkville 🚨
Due to severe winter weather, a snow emergency is now in effect. No parking is allowed on any village streets to allow plows to safely and efficiently clear the roads. Please stay safe, limit travel if possible, and check on neighbors who may need assistance. Make sure to like, share and follow the Yorkville Police and Yorkville Highway Department pages for important information and update’s. Let’s look out for one another, Yorkville ❄️💙

VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE DELARES SNOW EMERGENCY

The Village of Yorkville has declared a snow emergency which will go into effect starting tonight 1/25/26 at 12PM and will remain in effect until 1/27/26 at 7am.

All vehicles must be off the street.
-No parking on any village streets during a snow emergency
- Stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary
- Any vehicle interfering with snow removal operations will be ticketed and towed

The Village of Yorkville is expecting heavy snow with total snow accumulations 18 inches or more.

Please remember when a snow emergency is declared please assist us with assisting our DPW and Public safety.

The Yorkville Police Department will be enforcing parking and traffic regulations during the snow emergency to ensure public safety and allow DPW crews to operate efficiently. Please plan for parking.

Due to the ongoing inclement weather, all courthouses in the New York State Court System will be closed on **Monday, January 26, 2026**.

If you had a court date scheduled for that day, please note that your next court date will be **February 9, 2026**, at the same time as your original appointment.
