We’re excited to see work officially underway on Phase 2 of the City of Yorktown street sign project!

A huge thank you to Richard Naranjo and his crew for all of their hard work improving and updating street signs throughout our community. This has been a long-awaited project, and we’re thrilled to see progress continuing after the completion of Phase 1 a few years ago.

Work began yesterday and will start on First Street before continuing numerically throughout town. As crews work at intersections installing new signs and traffic signals, we ask everyone to please keep a close lookout for city crews and use extra caution when traveling through work areas. Some traffic signs at certain intersections will also be changing, so please pay close attention to new signage and drive safely.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation as these improvements are made to help keep our community safer and easier to navigate!
