🚛 WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Pick up loaded export containers from customer facilities
• Deliver containers to Port Houston terminals
• Handle chassis exchanges and empty repositioning
• Complete terminal gate transactions
• Verify container, seal and load information
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery records
• Communicate with dispatch when terminals or customers are delayed

Drivers generally handle multiple local moves during the shift, with the exact workload changing based on customer production and terminal receiving windows.

⚠️ REAL-WORLD PORT CONDITIONS

Port work isn't always perfectly predictable.

Terminal queues, customer loading delays, vessel receiving windows and Gulf Coast weather can change the order of your moves. Export freight also comes with firm cutoff times, so timing, documentation and safe chassis handling matter every day.

🚛 WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Move import and export containers between Blount Island, Dames Point, Talleyrand, rail facilities and Northeast Florida customers.

You'll verify container numbers and seals, inspect chassis, handle port gates and keep moves on schedule while working with local dispatch.

Routes commonly use I-95, I-10, I-295, US-17 and Heckscher Drive.

📋 REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid CDL-A + current DOT medical card
• 12 months CDL-A experience preferred
• Port/container experience preferred
• Current TWIC or ability to obtain one
• Acceptable MVR
• Pass DOT drug screen & Clearinghouse requirements
• Comfortable with chassis inspections and repeated cab climbing

This dedicated Dallas–Fort Worth operation is hiring drivers to move 53' dry van trailers between distribution centers, warehouses, and logistics facilities across North Texas.

💰 $1,520–$1,850 WEEKLY
💵 $31/HR + $46.50 OT
🎁 $1,500 SIGN-ON BONUS

• Valid Class A CDL
• 6+ months CDL-A experience preferred
• Current DOT medical card
• Acceptable MVR
• Able to safely operate in busy warehouse yards
