We’re thrilled to invite you to join Camp Encore!, a brand‑new theater camp created to give young performers (ages 8-15) a joyful, high‑energy place to shine this summer.

Camp Encore! is led by Marissa Armitage — the incredible Music Director of Peter Pan Jr. — whose enthusiasm, creativity, and musical magic make every rehearsal feel like an adventure.

Throughout the week, you’ll dive into singing, dancing, character play, and the kind of theater games that spark instant imagination and laughter.

Get ready to dive headfirst into the Survival Arts! Captain John and his fearless crew are gearing up to make the outdoors a wildly good time.

Do you know what to do if you got lost in the woods?
Could you build a shelter, read a compass, or follow a map through unfamiliar terrain? At Discovery Camp, campers will learn the basics of real‑world survival while exploring, creating, and discovering what they’re capable of.

Each day is packed with activities, games, crafts, challenges, stories, and hands‑on adventures that spark curiosity and confidence.

Get to know scenic Goodrich Park situated along the York River and learn to identify some of the common native and non-native/invasive plant species found there. Help us restore native biodiversity by pulling out some plants in the landscaped area, replant with native alternatives, and then continue to top-cut invasives in the wooded area and along the nearby trail. No experience necessary! Bonus: learn about and help plant an American Chestnut tree!

Join us for a morning of invasive plant identification and removal at Goodrich Park.

There are two workdays coming up:
Wednesday, June 17 and
Wednesday, July 15
Both are from 9 AM – 12 PM.

Work may involve hand pulling, cutting, and possibly replanting with native species in specific areas.

Please bring: refillable water bottle, sturdy close-toed shoes, light-colored clothing, long pants, long socks, long sleeves, and gloves if you have them.

Provided: work gloves, insect repellent, sunscreen, water refills, and work tools.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT POISON IVY AND TICKS ARE PREVELENT.

Join the ZUMBA® with Marianela craze and turn your workout into a party. Dance your way to better fitness, burn calories, and support your body and mind.

Led by Marianela Ramirez, an award-winning fitness instructor from Bucaramanga, Colombia, these sessions combine energy, rhythm, and expertise.

All ages welcome! Bring the whole family and turn it into a beach day. Rain or shine, please meet one hour before each class in front of the Long Sands Bathhouse.

The first session is this Sunday, June 14th!
