In this evening workshop on June 23, participants will slow down and explore their connection to the Mount Agamenticus landscape through guided observation and creative reflection. After a short walk along the Big A Trail at the summit, participants will create a small handmade zine (a DIY booklet) that expresses their personal relationship to this shared ground.

No artistic skill required. This workshop is about noticing, belonging, and connecting. Instruction and materials provided. This program is free with admission, but registration is required. Help remove invasives at Goodrich Park!

Get to know scenic Goodrich Park situated along the York River and learn to identify some of the common native and non-native/invasive plant species found there. Help us restore native biodiversity by pulling out some plants in the landscaped area, replant with native alternatives, and then continue to top-cut invasives in the wooded area and along the nearby trail. No experience necessary! Bonus: learn about and help plant an American Chestnut tree!
