Due to the forecasted weather, Penn Waste will be starting their collection on Thursday and Friday this week one hour early. Please place your mobile carts curbside after 6 PM the evening before to ensure collection on your pick up day. Thank you!

The West Manchester Township offices will be closed for the 4th of July Holiday on Friday, July 3rd, 2026. Offices will re-open on Monday, July 6th at 8 a.m.
Township offices will close at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 2nd so that staff may enjoy the holiday with family.
Please be advised all regular Friday trash and recycle collections will continue as normal.
The Township playground program will be closed on Friday, July 3rd.

The emergency infrastructure repair project on North Adams Street between Bannister Street and Leonard Street progressed more quickly than anticipated. As a result, the roadway will be reopened to traffic on July 1st and the previously announced daytime closure will no longer be necessary.
Please note that the road will be closed again at a later date for a final application of surface paving.
We appreciate the public’s patience and cooperation during this emergency repair work.

North Adams Street Road Closure
Starting June 30th thru July 3rd, York Ex will have North Adams St from Bannister St to Leonard St closed during the day for an Emergency infrastructure repair. These streets will reopen in the evenings.

The primary election is tomorrow, May 19th. The Township offices will be closed to walk-in customers due to the municipal offices being used as a polling place. We appreciate your understanding.

Please be advised that the playgrounds will be closed for scheduled maintenance at the end of the week. During this time, we will be applying a playground surfacing revitalizer to improve safety and extend the life of the play area.
