Today, September 11, 2026, the City of York will pause at 8:46 a.m. for a moment of silence to honor the lives lost, the survivors, and the first responders and community members who demonstrated extraordinary courage on September 11, 2001.

We invite our entire community to join us in reflecting, paying tribute, and remembering the strength and resilience that united our nation.

We will never forget.

York City Families! Get ready to sweat because we are about to kick it up a notch! In partnership with BYOG, FREE "Hot Yoga and Hot Pilates in the Park" with Maisha McAllister is coming to the Farquhar Park Gazebo! Sessions will be on Monday, September 14th, and Monday September 28th! Times for both days are listed below:

5:00pm - 6:00pm Hot Yoga in the Dome
6:00pm - 7:00pm Hot Pilates in the Dome

Be sure to bring plenty of water and a sweat towel, dress comfortably, go at your own pace, and have a great time!
