We invite our entire community to join us in reflecting, paying tribute, and remembering the strength and resilience that united our nation.

One week ago today, the City of York made history by dedicating College Avenue in honor of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

This meaningful celebration reflected Dr. King’s enduring legacy of justice, unity, service, hope, and demonstrated what is possible when our community comes together with a shared purpose.

Thank you to our Planning Committee, volunteers, York City School District, York County Community Foundation, rabbittransit, Bailey Coach and every community member who marched, participated, and helped make this historic occasion possible.

The street now bears his name. May our actions continue to carry forward his dream.
