Today, members of Station 13 participated in the Tunnel to Towers 10th Annual Tower Climb, climbing 104 stories to honor the heroes of 9/11 and remember the sacrifices made that day.

Great job by all members who took part in this meaningful event.

Members of Local 628 were proud to volunteer and BBQ at Enrico Fermi School’s Field Day, helping make their first Field Day in 24 years a special one for the students and staff. Thank you to all of our members who took the time to come out and help make the day a success.

This week, members of Station 14 also continued the Taco Tuesday tradition with our friends , keeping the tradition strong

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

For our Local 628 family, that remembrance carries special meaning as we also honor those who served both their nation and the City of Yonkers, first in uniform and later as firefighters.

Today is not about celebration, but remembrance, gratitude, and honoring those who gave everything for the freedoms we hold today. We are forever indebted to their sacrifice and will never forget their courage, service, and legacy.

Happy Mother’s Day from Local 628!

Today we celebrate all the moms in the Local 628 family, the ones who hold everything together while our members are away working long hours, missing holidays, events, dinners, and time at home. The moms who always show up for their families, carry more than anyone sees, and make countless sacrifices behind the scenes every single day. We appreciate everything you give, not only to your families, but to all of us. THANK YOU!

And to all the moms out there, today is for you too. Wishing you all a Happy Mother’s Day and hope you enjoy the day with your families.

Great turnout yesterday as YFD earned a 5–3 victory over YPD in the 28th Annual Hockey Game. Proud of everyone who took part, and even more proud that all proceeds raised will go directly to . Thank you to everyone who played, helped, supported, and cheered on a great event. Looks like the trophy stays home with us for another year 🏆🏆🏆
