Planned Power Outage-Project Complete
All power has been restored.

The City of Yoakum Electric Department will be performing power line maintenance on the morning of Sunday, April 12, 2026. The area affected will include Hwy 77A at the corner of West Grand Ave/Hwy 111 (Dairy Queen); Hwy 111, Theile Drive, Bluebonnet Lane, Mockingbird Lane, Gilbert Mueller Road, and Isdale Drive/FM 326.

Work will begin at 7:30 AM & power should be restored by 10:00 AM. Please make any necessary accommodations during this period.

Cutting the power to the line will allow the Electric Department to make the necessary repairs safely while strengthening the City’s electrical infrastructure. We appreciate your patience.
