Bald Hills Fire Department

Bald Hills Fire Department Volunteer emergency services. Fire Cadets for youth 14-21 years old. Meets every Wednesday evening 6-9pm at Station 17-1.

Our volunteer department is located in the rural southeast corner of Thurston County. We serve a local community of approximately 4,190 citizens. We provide fire suppression and basic life support emergency medical services. We also provide and receive mutual aid from neighboring fire districts within Thurston County. Our primary station is located along Bald Hill Road in front of Lackamas Element

ary School. This site is intended to serve as a mechanism for communication between the District and the public on the listed topics related to the District’s purpose of providing fire protection services, emergency medical services, and protecting life and property. Yesterday Bald Hills Fire Department Tender 17-1 responded to a residential structure fire in District 2. We were the first Tender to arrive and we supplied water to the Yelm firefighters who extinguished the fire in about an hour. While searching the house they located and rescued the family dog, reviving her with water and oxygen.
