Congratulations to the graduates of this spring's Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist course! Naturalists graduated this week and will be completing 40 hours volunteer service to support important conservation work in our community. You may see these naturalists volunteering around the Glen at the Trailside Museum, on the trails as a Trail Ambassador or leading programs. Thanks Naturalists and OCVN !

TBT: Grinnell Mill has changed over the years, as these two photos -- both from around 1900, show. Can you tell which image would have come first? Today, in the location where you see the horse and carriage, there is an addition with a bedroom.

Thank you to Yellow Springs Schools for sharing the unused furniture from schools - we will put desks, cubbies, and white boards to good use all around the Outdoor Education Center campus :)

TBT: The Jacoby Road covered bridge marked the southern edge of Glen Helen until it was destroyed in 1969, in a tragic act of arson. To this date, the span has not been replaced.

Spots are filling up quickly for our Backyard Backpacking Eco-Camp this summer! Offered for 12-14 year olds June 22-26th, this camp is the perfect opportunity to try out tent camping without going too far and as part of a supportive and fun community.
