Today, the City of Yazoo stands proud as we celebrate the graduating Class of 2026 from Yazoo City High School. On behalf of the Mayor, Board of Aldermen, and the entire city, congratulations on reaching this major milestone. Your journey was built through long nights, sacrifice, growth, faith, and determination. Each of you carry gifts, purpose, and greatness that this world needs. Never allow your circumstances to define your future. Keep God first, stay humble, work hard, and continue believing in yourselves even when the road gets difficult.

This graduation is more than a ceremony. It is the beginning of a new chapter filled with opportunity, responsibility, and purpose. As you walk across that stage today, know that an entire community is praying for your success and cheering you on. Whether your next step is college, the workforce, the military, entrepreneurship, or continuing your education, walk boldly and never forget where you come from. Yazoo City believes in you, and the future is brighter because of the Class of 2026. Congratulations once again, and may God continue to guide every step ahead.
