Kellen Gross Drive Closure

Due to construction, Kellen Gross Drive from 21st Street to 23rd Street is scheduled to be closed to traffic on June 29th, 2026. Unless there is inclement weather or scheduling conflicts, the contractor, Masonry Components, will be installing construction signage and beginning operations on this date.

The contractor will be removing the existing street section and installing a new PCC roadway section. The completion date is September 4, 2026.

The construction signage will provide drivers advanced notification. For the safety of everyone, please obey the construction signage. Do not pass through full street-closure barricades. If at all possible, travelers should find an alternate route to avoid traffic congestion.

10th Street Closure

Due to construction, 10th Street from Maple Street to Locust Street is scheduled to be closed to traffic on June 29th, 2026. Unless there is inclement weather or scheduling conflicts, the contractor, Steve Harris Construction, will be installing construction signage and beginning operations, on this date.

The scope of the project is a pavement replacement with minimal underground utility work. The completion date is August 21, 2026.

The construction signage will provide drivers advanced notification. For the safety of everyone, please obey the construction signage. Do not pass through full street-closure barricades. If at all possible, travelers should find an alternate route to avoid traffic congestion.

Cedar Street Closure

Due to construction, Cedar Street from 20th Street to 21st Street is scheduled to be closed to traffic on June 29th, 2026. Unless there is inclement weather or scheduling conflicts, the contractor, Feimer Construction, will be installing construction signage and beginning operations, on this date.

The work to be completed includes reconstructing the entire street section, as well as replacing a sanitary sewer manhole. A completely new water main system will be installed within the city right-of-way, as part of the project. The completion date is October 9, 2026, but it is likely the project will be completed well in advance of the deadline.

The construction signage will provide drivers advanced notification. For the safety of everyone, please obey the construction signage. Do not pass through full street-closure barricades. If at all possible, travelers should find an alternate route to avoid traffic congestion.
