We are over the moon to be sweating less thanks to new AC courtesy of the superheroes at Grassland Heating and Cooling. After the Yankton CTE students built it and set on its foundation, these heating and cooling masters burst in to keep volunteers, staff, and the homebuyer from overheating while we wrap up the interior work. Habitat's Rock the Block event in Yankton was a huge success, thanks to the incredible efforts of our volunteers, who worked tirelessly over two Saturdays despite challenging weather conditions. We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to the team at FNBO, not only for their volunteer work at the event but also for the FNBO Impact Grant they awarded Habitat last year. We are also grateful to the Yankton Area Foundation for their grant supporting Habitat's work and this event. Our volunteers were treated to lunches courtesy of Fryn' Pan Yankton, Perkins, Subway, Hy-Vee, Culver's, and Jimmy Johns. Please support these businesses!
