Wrestling Camp
📅 June 22–26
📍 Bartlett Yancey High School Gym
⏰ 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
💲 $40 per wrestler

This camp will be led by Coach John Hodnett (who does the weekly wrestling at the rec)Coach Hill, the wrestling coach at Bartlett Yancey High School, and for three days will feature special instruction from Sam Braswell, head wrestling coach at Averett University.

Whether you’re a beginner looking to learn the fundamentals or an experienced wrestler looking to sharpen your skills, this camp is a great opportunity to learn from some outstanding coaches and improve your technique.

✅ No pre-registration required – wrestlers can sign up on the first day of camp!

The link for the Dairy Daddies ball game on July 10th Is below. The $16 Includes a two dollar convenience fee that they charge You do need to purchase the tickets through that link. I believe also that you could go to the ballpark before July 10th and purchase directly from there. Everyone share the link and go ahead and purchase your tickets. We need at least 50 Purchased tickets to secure our own section and the special pricing I don’t think that’ll be a problem for us to do

⚾ Caswell County Parks & Recreation Youth Night at the Ballpark! ⚾

Join us on July 10 for a fun-filled trip to see the Danville Dairy Daddies play baseball!

🎟️ Cost: $14 per person
🌭🥤 Includes all-you-can-eat food and drinks
📍 We will have our own reserved group area.
⚾ Kids will also have the opportunity to run onto the field with the team before the game!

🎤 We are currently looking for a volunteer to sing the National Anthem before the game. If interested, please contact us!

We’re excited to announce that registration for our FREE Summer Camp Series will be opening soon! From sports and outdoor fun to creative activities and hands-on learning experiences, we’re working hard to make this summer one to remember for kids across our community.

We’re sharing the first round of camp dates now, but this is just the beginning.

More camps and opportunities may be added in the coming weeks, so be sure to stay tuned and keep checking our page for updates, registration details, and announcements.

These camps fill up quickly every year, and we can’t wait to see our community come together again for another summer full of fun, growth, friendships, and memories.

🏈 Caswell County Parks & Recreation is excited to announce the start of a new Tackle Football Program!

We will be holding an informational meeting on June 30 at 6:30 PM for anyone interested in helping get this program off the ground. Parents of players do not need to attend. We are specifically looking for coaches, volunteers, and anyone interested in being involved with building this program.

Our first year will focus on teaching the fundamentals of football through inter-squad practices and scrimmages as we help our young athletes learn and develop the game.

If you want to be a part of something special from the beginning, please make plans to attend the meeting on June 30 at 6:30 PM. We look forward to seeing you there!

We will have a updated yearly calendar available soon. It will show sign-up and begin dates for each sport. Some notable changes will be soccer starting late Aug or early Sept. Basketball will start earlier as well ( early November) with Volleyball beginning after the first of the New Year.
