📣 Yakima Music en Acción is searching for an Executive Director who will guide our organization into its next phase of growth. We’re looking for an advocate of youth empowerment and arts education who is excited about translating vision into action, and we'd love your help in spreading the word! 📣

The ideal person for this position will bring both strong organizational leadership skills and the flexibility to thrive in a creative, youth-centered culture as the organization’s primary spokesperson, fundraiser, and partnership-builder. If you’re excited about cultivating a people-centered culture that empowers staff to lead and facilitates student growth and success, we’d love to hear from you.

At YAMA, we believe that some of the most powerful teaching happens when students learn from each other. That's the heart of our Assistant Teacher (AT) Program — an opportunity for experienced student musicians to step into leadership roles, mentoring younger players while deepening their own love of music.
This year, five incredible ATs joined our team! Angelina, Belen, Dianna, Dylan, and Salvador have all brought a new level of dedication, creativity, and heart to our orchestras.
