The countdown to Homecoming Week is on, and this year, all five EVSD schools AND District staff are competing for the Spirit Week trophy and bragging rights! 🏆

Who will bring the biggest school spirit? Who will go all in on the themes? And most importantly… WHO WILL WIN THIS YEAR?

🏈🔥 RED DEVIL FOOTBALL IS BACK! 🔥🏈

It’s time to pack the stands! Join us Friday, September 11th at 7:00 PM for the first East Valley High School home football game of the season! ❤️🖤 Come out, cheer loud, and show your Red Devil pride!

A few important game-day reminders:

📺 Can’t make it? All EVHS home games will be streamed on Hudl.

🚫 Stay off the track! The track and sidelines are reserved for authorized personnel only.

👨‍👩‍👧 K–8 students/children must enter with a paying parent. Children without a parent will be turned away.

🛹 Leave the wheels and noisemakers at home! Skateboards, roller blades, bikes, noisemakers, bells, and similar items will be confiscated if brought into the stadium.

👀 Please supervise children. Children may not run around the stadium grounds or be left unsupervised.

🤝 Show your Red Devil pride! Proper conduct is expected at all times. Throwing items, inappropriate language, insubordination, or other inappropriate behavior may result in spectators being asked to leave.

Let’s kick off the season the right way—together, loud, proud, and RED DEVIL STRONG! 🔱🏈

🏀 COACHING OPPORTUNITY AT EAST VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL

East Valley High School is looking for an Assistant Girls Basketball Coach to join the program!

If you have a passion for basketball, enjoy working with student athletes, and want to help young athletes grow on and off the court, this could be a great opportunity.

📣 LIL DEVIL CHEER CAMP 2026!

Calling all future cheerleaders in Kindergarten through 5th Grade! 📣

Join the EVHS Cheer Team for a fun morning of learning cheers, building skills, and getting ready to show off those moves!

📅 Camp: September 19, 2026
⏰ Time: 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
📍 Location: EVHS Main Gym
🎉 Homecoming Parade/Game Performance: September 25
Cost: $40 per participant

📝 Registration forms are available in the office at the elementary schools. Registration is due September 8.

Families, please note that there will be no school on Friday, September 4 and also no school on Monday, September 7 in observance of Labor Day.

Skyward Login Update

We have received a few calls and emails from staff and families who are having trouble logging into Skyward.

A few weeks ago, Skyward updated its login system and web address. If your app or saved login is still using the old version, you may have trouble accessing your account.

Here are a few things to try:

If you use the Skyward app:
Please delete the Skyward app from your phone and reinstall it. This will make sure you have the most current version.

If you use a saved bookmark or login:
Instead of using your saved link, go directly to the East Valley School District website at www.evsd90.org and click the Skyward icon.

If you are able to log in through the Skyward link on our website, great! This likely means the saved link or login you were using was the old version.

We know login issues can be frustrating, and we appreciate your patience while working through the update. If you continue to have trouble after trying these steps, please reach out to us for help.
