What have we been up to lately?

In February, XTFD responded to 129 calls for service. These responses included 71 medical calls, 13 fire alarms, 12 motor vehicle accidents, 7 brush/grass fires, 6 building fires, a vehicle fire, and 19 various other types of incidents.

As always, we thank our neighbors as several of these responses involved mutual aid either to or from these communities.

Rest easy, Chief.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of retired Fire Chief Dean Fox as he passed away today. Chief Fox served Xenia Township Fire Dept. for 30 yrs before retiring in 2019.

The family requests privacy and not to contact the funeral home.
