On Monday, May 12th, JCC wrapped up the school year with an unforgettable final concert—this time with an awesome 80s theme! The evening featured six incredible 8th-grade soloists, grade-level awards, and a brand-new tradition: the “Creek Spirit” Award. Each choir voted for a classmate they felt consistently showed kindness, went above and beyond, showed the Coy way everyday and who was always ready to lend a helping hand. We also had the privilege of performing with a fantastic live 6-piece band that brought the 80s to life!

This concert was extra special as it was the final middle school performance for our amazing 8th graders. Many of them have been in choir since 6th grade, and we couldn’t be prouder of their growth, leadership, and dedication over the years. We’ll miss them dearly, but we’re so excited to see all the incredible things they’ll accomplish in high school!

Thank you to everyone who helped make the 2024–2025 school year so special. Have an amazing summer, JCC!

Your dedication, focus, and passion for music were clearly evident in your performances, and we couldn’t be more proud. The hard work you’ve put in all year has truly paid off, and you represented JCC with excellence and professionalism.

A huge congratulations as well to our incredibly talented 7th and 8th grade Coy bands, who also earned Superior ratings at OMEA!

Bravo to all of our student musicians—your achievements are a reflection of your determination and love for music. Keep shining!

🎶 A Night to Remember! 🎶

Last night, the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade choirs as well as Unaccompanied Minors, delivered an outstanding performance! Their hard work and dedication were evident in every song, making for a truly memorable concert. A special shoutout to the three talented 8th-grade instrumentalists—Lincoln Pauling, Ian Massengil, and Lucas Galpin—for their incredible contributions to the evening!

Looking ahead, the 7th and 8th graders will be showcasing their talents at the OMEA adjudicated event on May 9th at Beavercreek High School. The final concert of the year is set for May 12th in the Beavercreek High School auditorium - we’d love to see you there!
