We’re ambassadors for the library and, in some cases, provide kids with their first library experience. Do you realize how amazing your public library is? The Bookmobile is a part of Greene County Public Library with community locations in Beavercreek, Bellbrook, Cedarville, Fairborn, Jamestown, Xenia, and Yellow Springs. The Greene County Public Library Bookmobile carries thousands of books in it
s travels around the county. A typical stop entails meeting with several classes of children who each can borrow up to two books. Kids then return their books on our next visit and check out two more. We help your child find books they will enjoy. We often host story times (almost always in the summer!) and, on occasion, visit classrooms to read to kids using books that relate to what they’re learning. We also love to attend school functions when we can. One of the best ways to truly connect to our community, visit us when we’re in your neck of the woods. Discover, learn, and grow with the Bookmobile at Greene County Public Library. Talk to your child’s teacher to find out more about our schedule – we look forward to seeing you and sparking your children’s imagination!
