As a district, we have decided to bring back the spelling bee. We held our Linwood 5th Grade Spelling Bee this past week. What a wonderful experience and our spellers did very well. Congratulations!

Turkey Bingo was a great success! A huge shout out to our PTA, student and family volunteers, our fabulous teacher announcers and all who were able to join us. What a blessing to gather as a community! Have a great Thanksgiving!

We were able to share gratitude and show honor to our Veteran’s in our annual drive through parade. Thank you so much to the Veterans’s that were able to join us and to those who were not. We greatly appreciate your service!

We held our annual Trick or Treat Hike in our School Forest! A family community event that brings Linwood together! A shout out to the amazing volunteers from our community in the school providing fun and games for all.

Today, Mr.Steffen’s class was able to meet with John Latimer who is one of Minnesota’s leading phenologists and host of a popular weekly radio show all about phenology. A few of our Linwood 4th graders will be making a segment that will be shared on the podcast. We will be sure to share it here as soon as we can!
