The Wyoming Fire Department has always been made up of volunteers who chose to step up and serve their community when emergencies strike. These individuals serve with hearts full of bravery and spirits willing to jump in, wherever and whenever needed.

We use Memorial Day as a time to pause, to say their names, and to remember those who served the citizens of Wyoming in this way.

We choose to honor them, even though we may not have personally known them. Their service was important then, and it remains important today.

Please join us.

Memorial Day gives us the opportunity to come together as a community to remember those who came before us — the men and women who proudly served both our country and the Wyoming Fire-EMS family.

We especially honor the past members of our department whose dedication, friendship, and service helped shape Wyoming Fire-EMS into what it is today. Their legacy continues to live on through the department and community they cared so deeply about.

Please join us for Wyoming Fire-EMS’s annual Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony:

Since you’ll be in the neighborhood… stop in at the firehouse for a break from the May Fete action and check out the trucks, meet some firefighters, take a ten minute CPR class, and try out your firefighting skills by spraying a fire hose!

So thankful for our Wyoming Police Department and the work they do!

Today we celebrate the moms, grandmothers, stepmoms, wives, and mother figures who keep our families and community strong. ❤️🚒

To the mothers serving on our department, the spouses holding things together at home during calls, and the women who taught us what service and sacrifice look like — thank you.

Your strength, patience, and support make what we do possible every single day.

From all of us at Wyoming Fire-EMS, Happy Mother’s Day! 🌷
