Welcome Ben Sparks! 🐾

"Hello Wolves! I'm Mr. Sparks, the new EL Social Studies teacher at Wyoming High School. I've taught language learners of all ages and backgrounds, including at an elementary school in Japan where I lived for two years. I'm a computer and video game nerd who loves movies, has two adorable cats, and plays pickleball almost every day. I'm looking forward to meeting and working with all the students and staff of Wyoming!"

"Hey, I’m Grant Bush. I’ll be teaching Biology and Chemistry at Wyoming High School. I just graduated from Grand Valley State University. I love doing physical activity like, working out, playing basketball or golf, and any sort of yard game. I’m excited to get working with all the new students."

"I am the new Wyoming High School counseling secretary. In my last role, I served as a parapro and administrative assistant at an online high school. I’m excited to be back in person full-time this year and to interact more directly with students and staff! In my free time, I enjoy writing and volunteering with two nonprofit organizations—one is a Grand Rapids-based online mental wellness community, and the other is national and supports families affected by congenital heart defects."

"Hi! My name is Abigail Whipple, and I am excited to join Wyoming High School as a Resource Room teacher this year. I graduated from Cornerstone University in May and am thrilled to begin my teaching career at Wyoming. A fun fact about me is that I played soccer at Grace Christian University, so Wyoming has been home to me for the past few years. I am looking forward to a wonderful year and am so excited to be part of the Wyoming community!"

Please be aware that DenHertog Street SW between Burlingame Ave and Robin Ave will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, August 27.

Please use the alternate route:

➡️ Blanchard St. from Burlingame Ave or Michael Avenue or Denhertog St from Michael Ave to access the South parking lot of Wyoming High School.

Prairie Parkway is open and can be used to access the East parking.

Please plan ahead, allow extra time, and follow posted detours. We appreciate your patience and cooperation!
