The Alumni Spotlight Series: Where Are They Now? continues! Each week, we’re proud to spotlight former Riders and share the incredible paths they’ve forged since their time at Caesar Rodney.
Riley Worrall - Class of 2025
Riley Worrall is an AT&T Virtual Sales Call Center Agent with Concentrix and a dedicated volunteer firefighter. Her passion for serving others continues to drive her as she works toward her goal of becoming a full-time firefighter. One of her proudest accomplishments since graduation has been continuing her firefighting journey and expanding her experience in emergency services. Looking back, Riley says the friendships she formed and the lessons she learned through athletics at the Caesar Rodney School District had a lasting impact on her life.
Julia Leslie - Class of 2019
Julia Leslie is an Agriscience Teacher at Milford School District, where she now inspires the next generation of agricultural leaders. After graduating from the Caesar Rodney School District, she earned her B.S. in Agriculture Education from Delaware State University and is proud to have gone from being an FFA member to serving as an FFA advisor. She is also excited to be marrying Jordan Thomas this August. Looking back on her time at CR, Julia fondly remembers the many opportunities to travel and explore new places, including trips to Washington, D.C., the Big E, museums, and especially a memorable trip to Costa Rica that broadened her perspective and love of learning.
Kelley Coleman - Class of 2010
Kelley Coleman is an Experience Ambassador at Dogfish Head Craft Brewery, where she combines storytelling, performance, and education through brewery tours and guest experiences. In addition to bartending and leading tours, she works as a stagehand and camera operator at the Delaware State Fair and continues to paint sets for the musicals at Caesar Rodney High School. Kelley says her time in the theatre program at the Caesar Rodney School District had the greatest impact on her life. The confidence she gained through performing and the support of her fellow thespians helped shape the person she is today.
Ashley (Peebles) Melvin - Class of 1998
Ashley (Peebles) Melvin has spent the past 22 years with the Delaware Forest Service, where she serves as a Training & Education Specialist IV. A graduate of Delaware State University with a degree in Plant Science, she coordinates environmental education programs across Delaware, including Arbor Day, Smokey Bear Fire Prevention, and Project Learning Tree. She also serves on committees for the National FFA Organization and the NCF Envirothon. She is most proud of the opportunity to connect young people with nature. Today, she lives in the Caesar Rodney community, where her son attends W.B. Simpson Elementary School. Ashley credits the Caesar Rodney FFA and Plant Science Pathway at the Caesar Rodney School District for laying the foundation for her success.
Shaune Berry - Class of 1987
Shaune Berry serves as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor with the Delaware Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, part of the Delaware Department of Labor. She earned a Master of Education in Applied Behavior Analysis and is also Autism Certified. Among her proudest accomplishments are advancing her education and building a career dedicated to helping individuals achieve their employment and independence goals. Outside of work, she is the proud mother of two Caesar Rodney School District graduates and grandmother to five grandsons. Her commitment to supporting others reflects a lifelong passion for education, advocacy, and helping people reach their full potential.
