Public Works will be flushing fire hydrants starting tomorrow, September 14th. This process will be completed by mid-October.

𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲: After flushing you may notice a color or mineral particles in your water. We recommend a few things:
1. Check and clean your faucet filters
2. Run cold water for 2-5 minutes until it runs clear - If you forget to use cold water, you'll need to run it longer as it's now in your water heater and it will take longer to flush out
3. Bypass your water softener when running cold water through your water lines - If you forget, try to flush it through that system or run your water longer

Starts Tuesday! Our local drop off is at the Wyoming Area Giese Memorial Library.

Hours are:
• Monday, Wednesday, Fridays from 10 am-5 pm
• Tuesday & Thursdays from 12 pm-8pm
• Saturdays from 10 am-1 pm

Chisago County is collecting new and gently used coats of all sizes for community members who could use a little extra warmth throughout the year. If you have coats you no longer wear, this is a perfect chance to give them a second life and support your neighbors in need.

Every donation makes a difference. All donated items will be distributed at Chisago County's Operation Community Connect event on October 15th, 2026, at the North Branch Area High School from 10:30 AM- 1:00 PM, while supplies last.
