Please be safe tonight at the Wyoming Moonlight Madness Shopping and Parade. PLEASE help make this a safe fun event. Parents, keep your children a safe distance from the parade floats and vehicles. There will be plenty of time to collect the extra treats after the parade has passed. 😎

Effective Immediately and Until Further Notice:

The Wyoming Police Department will be limiting its service. This is to ensure Officers are healthy and available when needed for emergency calls. If you have a general crime to report contact our dispatch at 309-286-2541 (non-emergency).
Ensure you leave a good phone number and a Wyoming Officer will take your report over the phone. Example on non-emergency calls are theft or damage to property.

Officers will still respond to emergency situations, and calls that require immediate intervention.

The Wyoming Police Department will still be out patrolling our city and helping the residents the best we can while attempting to ensure we do not pass any illness on to its residents or become sick ourselves.

Thank you.
Chief Mark James
