Starting next week June 15th road crews will be working on the east side of town paving roads. Please be mindful of traffic cones and road closed signs. We would like to keep traffic off the new roads for 2 days after they are laid to let them cure. If you have semis please stay off of new roads if possible for 7-10 days. If traffic cones are up please stay off those roads.

Garbage will not be picked up on May 25th Memorial Day. It will be picked up on Tuesday May 26th.

The Village of Wynot will be Flushing Hydrants April 27th from 8am to 4 pm at the latest.
Please refrain from using appliances that take water till after 4pm and your taps run clear. The village of Wynot is not responsible for damaged appliances if these instructions aren't followed.

We are still taking sealed bids for the playground equipment until April 1st. We were able to take it down into 3 sections, that can be loaded onto a trailer. All the slides, swings and hardware come with it.

Exciting News the Village of Wynot is getting a new Jungle Gym Set for the Village Park!!

NOTICE OF SALE – USED PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT-JUNGLE GYM SET ONLY
The Village of Wynot is accepting sealed bids for the purchase and removal of Used Playground Equipment-Jungle Gym Set located at 412 St. James Avenue, Wynot, Nebraska. No real property is included. Buyer is responsible for all costs associated with moving and relocation.
Details: two swings, two slides, rock wall, rope stairs, tire swing, pull-up bar, platform with steering wheel and telescope, tunnel with visible end.
Sealed bids must be submitted in hard copy, with bid security, in an envelope marked “Used Playground Equipment-Jungle Gym Set”, and delivered to The Village of Wynot, Attn: Chairman, 423 St. James Avenue, Wynot, NE 68792, no later than 4 p.m., April 1, 2026.
The Used Playground Equipment-Jungle Gym Set is sold ‘as-is, where-is” and must be removed from the premises no later than April 17, 2026. The Village Board of Trustees will consider bids at the April 8, 2026, Village Board Meeting at 7:30 P.M. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and its decision shall be final.

Johnson sewer service will be in town on Monday cleaning some sewer mains. Also will be flushing hydrants on Monday as well, so please limit water use on Monday if possible. Thank You.
